Meet Chef Amaka

Chiamaka Kathryn Nwakalor fondly known as Chef Amaka has always been a foodie at a young age and has developed her cooking skills since she was 10 years old. A graduate of the Department of Economics University of Lagos, she holds a Certificate in Culinary Art from Wavecrest School of Hospitality and presently the Executive Chef of Dish L’Afrique which started on the 3rd of November 2015. She is also the Convener of Chow with Chef Amaka, a triannual event that doesn’t just unite people with food (African, Continental and some signatory meals) but to show to guests a bit of her hospitality. Apart from cooking, Chef Amaka enjoys teaching and training people, singing, travelling, watching movies, and writing.
