There is a story behind this sauce which i will love to share. There was stew remaining in the house and my mom is the type that always adds vegetable to her meal no matter the kind. So she called out to me to bring all the vegetables remaining in the fridge, and all that was there was cabbage, little carrot and one green bell pepper (mom is fond of always buying these because of noodles 😀).Then she chopped them in chunks and added it inside. It wasn’t too stewy but majority of the vegetable was cabbage and we name food based on what takes the major presence in it. And that was how we called it CABBAGE SAUCE.

Since then, it has always being a part of the menu, we add chicken to it and turkey. And so i made it recently and momcy loved it😀.
This meal is very easy to make. When we make it from scratch and it takes roughly 45minutes to cook (both prep and cooking). You can cut the vegetable to any size of your choice. So let me put you through My Homemade Chicken in Cabbage sauce
